OCR GCSE English marking and feedback
OCR GCSE English papers marked by qualified UK evaluators against the OCR mark scheme. Annotated script, topic breakdown and indicative grade returned in 48 hours. First paper free.
Marking OCR English properly
English is the subject where feedback matters most, because the mark scheme is a set of judgements rather than right answers. Every response comes back with AO-by-AO commentary, band placement, and two rewritten sample paragraphs showing what the next band up looks like. OCR questions lean on applying knowledge to unfamiliar contexts, so the gap between knowing a topic and scoring on it is wider than on other boards. That gap only shows up under timed conditions.
Every script is read by english teachers and examiners who mark for a major board each summer series. You get the paper back annotated, with a topic-level percentage and an indicative grade against real boundaries, not a self-marked tick list.
