Know exactly where the marks are going

Reports say "working towards". They don't say which topic, which question type, or what to do on Saturday morning. A marked paper does, from £7.99, back within 48 hours, read by a qualified human evaluator.

Why parents use us

Specific enough to act on this weekend

Not another progress percentage. A marked script, in your child's own handwriting, with a professional's comments in the margin.

A fraction of tutoring

A topic test is £7.99 and a full mock £14.99. An hour of GCSE tuition is £35 to £55, and rarely leaves a written record.

Marked by a person

Every mark and every comment is written by a UK subject teacher or current examiner. No automated scoring, ever.

An honest grade

Indicative grades are placed against the board's own published boundaries for that paper, not a flattering estimate.

One account, six subjects

Maths, English Language and Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science, across AQA, Edexcel and OCR.

No subscription needed

Buy one paper when you want one. Monthly plans exist if you'd rather, and cancel from your account at any time.

Safe with your child's work

Scripts are visible only to the assigned evaluator and a moderator, under a confidentiality agreement, and are never used for advertising.

The honest comparison

Marking or a tutor?

Both help. They do different jobs, and it is worth being clear about which problem you are actually solving.

A tutor and marking are not the same purchase. Many families use both, the marking tells the tutor where to spend the hour.

The process

Four steps, no account on this site

  1. 1

    Choose a paper

Pick a topic test, full mock or real past paper by subject, board and tier. Print it, or write answers on lined paper.

  2. 2

    Sit it under exam conditions

Timed, no notes, handwritten, the closest thing to the real thing that can happen at a kitchen table.

  3. 3

    Upload a photo or scan

Phone photos are fine. The paper goes to a qualified evaluator who specialises in that subject.

  4. 4

Read the report within 48 hours

An annotated script, a mark per question, a topic-level breakdown, an indicative grade against published boundaries, and three prioritised actions.

What parents say

“The annotated script was the thing that changed it. My son could see the exact line where the method mark stopped.”
Parent of a Year 11 student, Reading · Grade 5 to 7 in Maths
“Turnaround was genuinely 48 hours, twice. The report was specific rather than generic praise, which is what we were paying for.”
Parent of a Year 10 student, Glasgow
“Two topic tests in, we knew it was quantitative chemistry and nothing else. We stopped wasting revision time everywhere else.”
Parent of a Year 11 student, Birmingham · Grade 4 to 6

FAQ

Parent questions

How quickly does the marked paper come back?
48 hours from upload as standard. During the January and May peaks we guarantee 72 hours, and the current turnaround is shown before you upload.
Who marks my child's paper?
A UK-based qualified subject teacher, most of whom also mark for AQA, Pearson Edexcel or OCR during the summer series. Every script is read by a specialist in that subject.
Which year groups and subjects do you cover?
Years 7 to 11 across Maths, English Language and Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science, on AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
How does the free paper work?
Choose any paper marked Free, sit it at home and upload it. It is marked and returned like any other paper. No card details are taken at any point.
Can I track progress over time?
Yes. Once you sign in at app.gcsefeedback.co.uk every marked paper is stored against the student, with topic percentages tracked paper to paper.
Is the indicative grade a predicted grade?
No. It shows how the script would have scored against a published boundary set. It should never be used as a predicted grade for applications.

One paper is enough to see the difference

Marked by a person, returned in 48 hours, and specific enough to change what happens next week.
