For students

Stop revising everything. Fix the topic that's costing you.

Marking your own paper tells you the score. It doesn't tell you why. Every paper here comes back annotated by a real examiner, with a topic-level breakdown and three things to do next.

What you actually get

Feedback you can do something with

Not a tick and a score. A margin full of comments explaining every mark you didn't get.

Every lost mark, explained

The script comes back annotated question by question, so you can see the exact point where the method or the analysis stopped earning marks.

A topic percentage

Your score split by topic, so you can tell the difference between 'bad at Chemistry' and 'bad at moles'.

Three things to do next

A short prioritised list. Not 'revise more', specific question types, specific techniques, in order.

English gets rewrites

Two of your own paragraphs rewritten at the band above, so the difference between band 3 and band 4 stops being abstract.

Real exam conditions

Timed, handwritten, unseen papers written to the current specification, plus genuine past papers when you've worked through the mocks.

Proof it worked

Re-sit a paper on the same topic and compare the topic percentages. The gap either closed or it didn't.

The difference

Before and after three marked papers

The change isn't effort. It's knowing precisely what to put the effort into.

Before
Grade 5
  • Not sure which topics are actually weak
  • Same mistakes repeating paper after paper
  • Revision spread thinly across everything
  • Marking your own work and being generous
After three papers
Grade 7
  • A topic-level percentage after every paper
  • Every lost mark explained in the margin
  • Three prioritised actions, not a vague 'revise more'
  • A re-sat paper that proves the gap closed
The process

How a paper works

  1. 1

    Pick your weakest topic

Filter by subject, board, tier and topic. Start with the one you avoid.

  2. 2

    Sit it under exam conditions

Timed, no notes, handwritten, the closest thing to the real thing that can happen at a kitchen table.

  3. 3

    Upload a photo or scan

Phone photos are fine. The paper goes to a qualified evaluator who specialises in that subject.

  4. 4

    Work through the report

Read the annotations before the score. Then do the three actions, and re-sit a paper on the same topic in two weeks.

In their words

From students

“I had no idea my English answers were sitting in band 3 because I was describing rather than analysing. Seeing my own paragraph rewritten at band 4 made it obvious.”
Year 11 student, Manchester · Grade 6 to 8
“The topic percentages meant I stopped re-reading the stuff I already knew. Two weeks of revision saved.”
Year 11 student, Leeds
“Getting a real examiner's handwriting on my own paper hits differently to a mark scheme PDF.”
Year 10 student, Cardiff

FAQ

Student questions

Will this actually improve my grade?
It shows you precisely which topics and question types are losing marks, and what to change. Most students who re-sit a paper on the same topic within a fortnight see the topic percentage move; the work still has to happen in between.
What kind of feedback do I get?
An annotated script, marks per question against the official mark scheme, a topic-level percentage, an indicative grade, and three prioritised next actions. English also includes two rewritten paragraphs.
How fast is it returned?
48 hours from upload as standard, 72 hours during peak exam season.
Do I need to print the paper?
It's easiest, because you should write by hand exactly as you will in the exam. If you can't print, write on lined paper numbered to match the questions and photograph that.
Is any of it AI-marked?
No. Every mark and comment is written by a qualified human evaluator. Software only helps sort uploads and check that photos are legible.
